Abstract:
Title: From school to museum: practices, experiences, and perspectives in dialogue
This dossier gathers the initial results of a research project conducted at the Universities of Dijon and Besançon on the inventory and promotion of plaster cast collections held in our universities, art schools and academies, as well as museums in the Bourgogne – Franche-Comté region. The specific context of our regional collections is a good starting point for a dialogue on plaster cast collections, which would not be limited to the plasters of our two universities, but would also aim to promote the exchange of experiences between the various actors, academics and curators who, through their work, have recently contributes to the renewal of knowledge about these collections.
